So Long, M

Last summer M was one of my favorite places to play 9/6 JoB video poker--liked the newer machines, the music, and the fact I could earn free buffets while playing. My next trip is next month, and I'd been planning to return--but noticed on vpFREE that last month they yanked all the machines I'd been able to play on.

I just don't get how that's good for them. I'll show up to use my free seafood buffet (probably my favorite meal of the week), line pass and free play offers--then go play somewhere else that has machines I can use my bankroll on.

Then again, perhaps all the above offers will also be yanked by next month--you never know.
Kinda sad.........if you visit M regularly, you see the dwindling of the machines........especially vp.
Larger areas of NO machines when I went there a week ago.

You really have to Hunt to find things. What is left, is moved around.
I found the Deuces prog. bank I like to play, in a different area. It was still Prog. but the signage
to the fact with running amount, Gone. So you really have to LOOK.

I still go for the M free crapola, and buffet, if I haven't eaten. Otherwise, its a hit n' run place for me now.

Hate to see that great place to play and stay go down hill.

Now no reason to run way out in the middle of the desert for a visit.
I haven't been back since the new owners did away with all the great things that made the M the M.

Still hear nothing good about the buffet--selection and quality has dropped drastically. Probably still decent enough if you are comped and it doesn't cost you. But if the money comes out of your wallet, spend it elsewhere and get your money's worth.

M still seems to keep the Locals coming. Especially with the way they do their crapola offers.
But as far as getting Tourists to make the trek? Not so much........
