Sportbook charging for seats?

Sorry if has been discussed before. With the explosion of Midwestern casinos and as I age (mid 20s-early 30s) Vegas lost some appeal. I haven’t been to Vegas since 2010. Now I see that the sports book charge to watch the games/ horses? Is this true? Are all seats pay to watch? Thanks for any info.

No. hardly any sportsbooks charge to sit. During big events they might or else charge crazy minimum bets just to stay. In my very humble opinion if they charge to sit they must be either too busy for me or to douche. Wouldnt want to stay anyway.

There are some sections of some sportsbooks that have VIP sections that are sectioned off for premium players, or in some casinos, VIP sections that are open only to people paying for packages which include VIP seating, premium drinks, etc.   I know in the recent past, the Venetian had minimum food purchase required for seating in its premium area, which was run in conjunction with a restaurant.

However, most seats in most sportsbooks have no charge, or minimums, for seating.
