Strategy involving Full House On DDBP

I was wondering what all the experienced VP players would do.

You are dealt a full house of say 3-3-3-k-k which is a 45 payout. Do you take the money and run or do you dump the two ks and try to get four 3s which would make it a 400 payout and if a kicker comes up, a 800 payout?

Just curious.

Thanks
I'd keep the full house. I believe you only break up a full house if 3 of them are aces.
This question can be solved with a little math. Probability of drawing 4 3's with a kicker (12/1081), 4 3's without a kicker (34/1081), redrawing a full house (68/1081), 3OAK (967/1081). If you multiply these probabilities by the payouts and add them together you end up with an expected value of 37.7 coins so it's better to keep the full house for a guaranteed 45 coins.

One important exception if the hand was A A A K K then the expected value of drawing is 63.6 coins because 4 Aces pay so much so you should break up a full house when it contains 3 Aces.
I know what the books say, but knowing what quad 2's, 3's, and 4's pay, I often break up the full house. After all, I come to Vegas to gamble and I really get a kick out of having the fourth 2, 3, or 4 showing up. Hey, it's Vegas.

Guynoire's math above looks correct. I know here in Minnesota I play both a 8/5 DDB for quarters and 7/5 DDB for nickels or $.02 100-play. Holding the full house is correct with 3-3-3-k-k on the 8/5 paytable (40 coins), but you would hold just the 3's on the 7/5 (35 coins) paytable.
It's better to hold the 3's in 7 5 DDB (EV 37.1 coins) vs 35 coins. Even in a penalty card situation like 3 3 3 2 2 it's still better to hold the 3's (EV 36.3 coins).
Also, as an experienced video poker player, I am playing less and less of DDBP. Casinos seem to set the game to a lower pay table knowing a lot will still play it. At my local casino, I play more and more 7/5 Super Double Bonus at the $.25 level and 6/5 Super Double Bonus at the $.05 and $.02 level. Each are about a 1% better pay table than DDBP.
Minnesota, I was surprised to even see them admitting to playing 8/5 or 7/5 DDB. Cold day in hell before I would play a 7/5 game (and I would really need a gambling fix to play 8/5).
I'm still a confirmed DDB player and almost always find FP at the $ level (even at CET casinos). 9/5 is the lowest I will go.
Last visit to AC I got dealt an ace hi FH 3 times...one of them turned into KAces. Only time I would break up a 2, 3 or 4 hi FH is when playing in a tourney.
My strategy involving Full House on DDBP is to refer to the strategy Card (Bob Dancer's) that I keep with me always when playing. There are others out there too but one should never be without one while playing. Just my opinion.
Know the games in your market! At another Minnesota Indian casino, all of their $.05 thru $2.00 DDB is 6/5 (94.65%), yet you can get $.25 6/5 Super Double Double Bonus (97.7%) in the same casino!! What the heck!!
