I was at the Suncoast yesterday and noticed that the poker room is curtained off. Sign at front directs everyone to the Orleans poker room. I would say it is gone for good but I didn't ask about this.

We stayed there nine nites from May 26th and it was closed then. Staying at Suncoast alot, we just never saw that many people playing poker. But it has always been a big hit at the Orleans with a very large room almost always full.
Seems like the poker fad is fading. 8 years ago every two-bit dive in Vegas had a poker room. I dont think there's one anywhere on Fremont st anymore.
Have Binion's and the Golden Nugget been relocated off of Fremont street? Seems like they both have poker rooms. Apparently PJ has a source of information that the rest of us are not privy to ...
I could very well be wrong. My understanding is that Binions only does occassional tournaments without offering a daily, open-seat game.
But yes, Golden Nugget is still dealing.
