They also were unable to honor the fun book t-shirt coupon from MRB. Out of books and normal sizes. I am so greedy that I took a huge shirt anyway when they turned down the second valid coupon. I normally don't take swag that I really have no use for.
As for this issue, I should say that when I visited Terrible's in November, although they said that they stopped giving out books on November 1st, it wasn't made clear to me (and I didn't think of asking since I was kind of stunned by the information) whether they would start that up again at some point in the future (like after 2011 gets going) or if this move is permanent.
Maybe someone who goes there soon should check into this and if possible, report back to us with that information.
