I was playing $1 DDB at Boulder Station about 5 years ago and hit 4 aces with a kicker, then within 10 hands hit it again. Like dbueler said, you never know!
A variation on this theme is the time I hit a 2-6 club straight flush on a dollar DDB machine. As the meter is ticking away I look at the machine next to me and he has been dealt the same five cards.
this has happened to me. on a dollar machine i got (something) quads and the next hand was aces.
also at the el cortez, they have progressive quarter machines. i got 4's for (whatever it was) and two hands later i got 4's with the kicker and picked up a second jackpot.
