Ultimate X

I was recently at one of Arkansas' only two casinos. The only low roller game they had was triple play Ultimate X for nickels. I wasn't sure of the strategy, but was stuck there for a couple of hours and their wasn't a poker game going so I decided to play. I played double bonus for a while and was holding my own. I was noticing a lot of 2's so I decided to switch to deuces wild. (Both pay tables weren't great). But anyway on one hand I was dealt three 2's. I ended up hitting quad ducks on two lines at 7x for a nice win.

My actual question is this: It seems that much of your success on the game would be due to being dealt winners so you can get the multiplier on all lines. Disregarding the pay tables, would deuces wild or a jacks or better based game be better to play?
I'm not an expert, but I believe you will get Jacks or Better a very very small percentage more than 3OAK in Deuces Wild. But the paytables are the key. I find more terrible Dueces Wild pay tables than JOB ones. You need to compare the two paytables, not the base game.
The extra coin required to play for the multipliers can wipe you fast if you don't get dealt pat hands real often, and match them with high multipliers.

So, as billryan said, the pay tables are important to be able to keep playing.

Pat hands on deuces don't give that many chances for good payoffs even with multipliers. You were lucky!

One time I really killed on a UX machine, quarter play, for several hours, cashed out over 2K.
That was just pure luck. The rest of my UX attempts, not so much.

Used to be that you could harvest multipliers that were still left on the machine from someone else's play, it would give you a nice edge on your first hand. Last trip to Vegas, though, it seems that this didn't work anymore, as soon as you dealt your first hand the leftover multipliers would disappear. Has the software been changed?

I think it depends on the locale. I was able to harvest some left over x's this past Wednesday at an Indian Casino in Western Oklahoma.
Thanks, Coach. Maybe it's a function of updated software that hasn't been deployed everywhere yet?

What pay schedules can I expect to find at the 25 cent level on Ultimate Times JOB, DB, DDB or DBdlux?

Play must often at South Point, M and GVR.

Ultimate X or Super Times Pay?   I have not heard of Ultimate Times.  I can't answer your question re those casinos anyway, but good luck whatever you play.

Sorry Candy I got the title wrong.  The game is Ultimate X Poker and is a game currently available for free play on this website.  Would like to try it in a live casino soon.
