The week started out bad with the loss (over three grand) from last weekend (Last week's post "Weekend Gambling), and things got worse. Went to eat a free Buffet at the Hard Rock in Tulsa on Friday. Not planning to gamble, they have an Ante, which I refuse to pay, I did play a few slots and was up $400. As I was leaving, feeling pretty good about the good fortune, I stopped to play one more slot. Promptly lost $200. I was still up two hundred, but no, I had to get that $200 back. In no time I had lost a total of $1,800. Feelin pretty deflated, I analysed the loss with the loss from the previous weekend and concluded I need to come up with a new game plan.
Saturday, drove up to the Downstream. There was a $20,000 cash drawings. win between one to five thousand. 10 lucky winners. I had reserved a 2 bedroom suite to house 4 of our grandkids. I would be checking out Tuesday. Monday was a point multiplier, also entries multiplier for two different cash drawings. My plan was to preserve my bankroll, three grand, until Monday and hit em hard then. I had taken a huge loss last Monday, chasing points, and hopefully learned from it.
I had $375 in free play plus converted $500 in points to free play. The night of the drawing, I had 231,000 entries. They drew my name twice for a nice win of $4,000. A good friend had her name drawn 3 times, she had 59,000 entries. Having learned my lesson about chasing points, I was a lot more conservative at the Pai Gow table. I ended up having a net gambling win of $2,500 plus the $4,000 for $6,500 payday. I did accumulate $300 in Points compare to $500 in points last Monday. Driving home I stopped off at the Buffalo Run casino in Miami and won another $220 on $20 in freeplay. I couldn't resist, I stopped and bought $50 in Mega Millions lottery tickets, for tonights drawing. When you're hot, you're hot.
I'm returning next Monday for the point multiplier, and for a cash drawing on Tuesday.
