If all the paytables are the same, do you play single line, triple play , five play or ten play, and why ?

I prefer single line play - I don't trust multiple line play, no matter what the game providers say.

That's silly-there's no evidence that any of the machines currently in casinos are dishonest in any way.

Given that the paytables are the same, AND that the denominations have a wide enough range so that ten play doesn't cost too much per hand, I always go for ten play. If, for instance, I want to play $1-2 per hand, I'll play ten play if I can do so for nickels. I'm willing to play slightly above my per-hand limit on multi-line because of the much lower volatility.
I very, very rarely see positive EV multi-line games these days, except at Emerald Island and Rainbow. There, you will find multiple multi-line machines offering 10/6 DDB. Basically a break even game, so all the points and bonuses and promos are gravy.

I can't explain it, but overall I've had more winning times with multi line play than with single line.
I mostly play triple play Bonus, 'cause it pays 2 coin for two pair, significant for the money last longer.
Candy
I'd play multi-line, it is less volatile. Dancer had a blog on this a while back.
I like triple play. It seems to get similar starting hands as single line and trips covers your bet. 5 play and 10 play just seems to be a money suck. Much fewer quality starting hands fot some reason, in my own sessions

Single play, triple play, ten play, and six thousand play all get the same starting hands. Selective memory might make people think otherwise.
A multi-line game has a different feel. Let's say you're dealt 2369 of hearts on 9/6 JOB (and some other non-heart fifth card). You're going to wind up with six times your bet, or nothing--and you'll get that nothing over four-fifths of the time. On triple play, you'll hit a flush just over half the time, and wind up with double your bet. You will almost never win six times your bet.
