Well at least for me, a session for me tends to be about 30-60 minutes depending on how my money is running and then I want to take a break for at least a bit.
And so for the lower volatility (Variance) games (like 9/6 Jacks, Pick 'Em Poker or possibly 8/5 Bonus Poker), I prefer to have a session Loss Limit (on a Quarter machine [at $1.25 per hand]) of no more than $60 and a Win Goal of about $20-$30 whereas for games with a higher volatility (most specifically 10/7/5 Double Bonus Poker), I have a playing session Loss Limit of no more than $75 with a Win Goal of about $30-$37.50.
