Video Poker - Do you change machines after win?

I like to play on a machine where someone hit a nice payout and walked away. I seem to do better than average on these machines. I know it should not make a difference, but it seems to. I believe that luck runs in a cycle and I hate to give up on it too soon.

Like in roulette - I play the color that seems to be running. It seems to come up more often than it should for awhile.

Not to be a smart a$$, but that is mainly because VP machines "seldom" have premium hands in general....ie the Royal Flush cycles are usually about 40,000 plus hands for most.

My wife and I just got back from Vegas and endured a 8+ hour marathon on two machines next to each other.....She hit two royals, I hit one and had several aces.

All the professionals AC, Jean Scott, Bob Dancer would tell you it's the pay schedule that matters not the machine.

Fun thread!!

Like most here, I stay a little longer on a machine, after a big win.

Sometimes. lightning can strike twice, or three times.

Also, I've noticed, video poker machines can be "streaky".

We've all experienced cold streaks - so when a machine gets a little "warm", it's nice to ride it out, for a while!!

Of course, YMMV!!
