Video poker "influencers"

Very odd forum here, just started reading and it seems some people are way to invested in other forum members.

David Miller is a rabid Trumper and election denier, and while the rules are that nastiness and personal attacks, as well as political commentary, are supposed to be confined to the Sink, he is so angry at receiving opposition there that he continually screams at and calls liars those who disagree with him--and in my case, he follows me all over the other forums and posts personal attacks in "response" to my posts. He's done that five times in the last two days alone.

You, of course, don't have to believe me one way or the other, but if you wish, you can compare the content, as well as the topic relevance, of each of our posts. I try to give genuine advice as well as offer my opinions about Vegas. David occasionally does offer advice as well, but the vast majority of his posts are personal attacks.

Yea, too bad we're not talking about video poker infuencers anymore, I think someone mentioned how this stifles the forum, and I agree. Takes two to tango, best to ingore trumpsters in my experience. Except for the kitchen.

Pretty much impossible these days to have a civil discussion about anything, and that certainly includes the internet, where people have no filters at all. You're right, though; Trumpsters are best ignored. Double that for David Miller, who has sworn to be my enemy and is following me around like a sick little puppy.

I started this thread because I was marveling at how these "influencers"/hucksters could possibly convince anyone with half a brain that they are really playing video poker with their own money. It's just another marketing ploy by the casinos, and a kind of clever one at that in that they spend no money of their own and get free advertising. The influencers get paid by YouTube once they accumulate a certain number of followers. Everybody wins...except for the doofi who watch these videos, are amazed by how "easy" it is to win at video poker, empty the bank account, and go bucketing off to the nearest casino.

I probably watched more of these than I should have. I was just amused by watching the slotmassacre guy moan every time he drew to AK suited and didn't get a royal, or to 44 and didn't get quads with a kicker. I noticed that he doesn't name the casino where he's filming until he's well into the video, and avoids exterior shots that could identify where he's playing. I guess that's so he can sell the footage to some other entity if the deal falls through...? Anyway, the most laughable conceit is that he pretends that he's filming surreptitiously, when in reality, he wouldn't last five minutes doing that. He's obviously cut deals to be there.
