Video Slots

Does anyone use a preferred method when playing video slots? Please share if you wish.
I usually just played video slots for fun, depending on the theme. I usually don't play max bet and only play in short intervals. The only video slot I really liked and played for long periods of time was the original Star Trek slot, but sadly most of these machines have been removed for some reason.
Makes no sense, but it seems the few times I've played video slots something good hits right away. So now if I play one, I play it full coin for a few hands. If absolutely nothing happens, I quit that machine. If something good happens right away, I play full coin a few more pulls. If nothing happens pretty soon after the good hit, I cash out.
I love playing them and usually go max bet but I play just for fun, they can make your money go fast unless you catch a bonus then get off.

I actually don't play slots at all but I want to let you know that in the American Casino Guide book there is a list of the range of payback percentages that the machine manufacturers offer casinos for each game and so I would suggest that you check to see which games offer the highest potential returns.

And as for "loose" or "tight" machines, I would say that there is a better likelihood that a casino with the better Video Poker would also possibly have some better returning Slot Machines as well.

And several years ago, the LVA had done a survey of Slots and found Palms to be "looser" than other casinos. It could also be that El Cortez has some better returning machines (at least this is what they claim in their advertisements).
