VP at the Plaza?

Here is a strong vote for Four Queens. We also play at the Plaza, Main Street and the D. The Queens offers more free play than the others combined. It may take a couple of stays to build yourself up, but it would be worth it, in our opinion. There seems to all ways be 9/6 JOB machines available. Also, charge any food to your room, and talk to a host at the end.
Good to hear, cheesehead, that's how I'm seeing it. Hate to skip the Plaza, but I don't want to fall off the Four Queens radar. We went ahead and booked, and cancelled the Plaza (I'll probably spin by one day and give them some play, though). $80 FP is a lot for us, and $75 food will take a chunk out of the Hugo's bill (the prices have gone up since last time we were there, though). Thanks for the advice!

The Plaza in vpFREE2 probably hasn't been updated because there are no updates.

I was just there and found everything listed just fine. Didn't see anything new worthy of being reported to them other than a slight change in one location because Pop Up Pizza is now open.
It's there now: https://www.vpfree2.com/casino/plaza-hotel-casino
From what I have seen I would do the 4 Queens and the Plaza. I like the EL but there is not much good in VP there. 8/5 BP some old 10/7 DB coin droppers. I play all three place but stay at 4Queens.

Plaza still has 9/6 JOB as of May 16th.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, not much good VP at the El, but they do have good blackjack. We decided to give it a try, but we'll stop by at the Plaza and give them some play. Just couldn't turn down that Four Queens offer. Thanks!
Yes, as of 6/6 the $0.25 9/6 Jacks were still at Plaza in the listed location. As for El Cortez, I just got a new offer from them that says that it takes 2,000 points per day during the week to earn a Free Room Night (with a three night maximum) and 3,000 points per day on weekends and holidays to earn a Free Room Night (also with a three night maximum).

Thanks, Rec, and welcome back. Hope you had a good trip.

We'll give the Plaza some play this time, but we'll stay at Four Queens, MSS and the El. I had heard about that deal, 2000 points for a weeknight and 3000 for a weekend night. That's $2K or $3K coin-in, except for the 10/7 DB machines, right? You don't know if the 9/6 JoB Multistrike or Downtown Deuces machines are 1 point per dollar as well, do you? And those free rooms, do they deduct points or comp dollars to cover them?

Sorry for all the questions; this will be our first time out there, and I'm kind of used to just talking to hosts. Sounds like I can probably avoid dealing with hosts at all there, eh?

Thanks again, Rec!
You're very welcome, Jon! I did have a nice trip but financially it was not good! But I know that that's the way it goes!

I think that the Dime Multistrike is $1 of coin-in per point while the Quarter 10/7 DB VP is $3 of coin-in per point. As for the Downtown Deuces, I have no idea since I do not play that game at all!

Thanks, Rec. The Downtown Deuces machine is a good one, it pays almost 101%, although it's volatile like all Deuces games.

So, one more question: With that comp room for 2000/3000 points deal, do they deduct the points or comp dollars for the room, or do you get to keep them? I figure $2K/d will be easy, between the Multistrike machine and some 8/5 BP.

Thanks again!

You're very welcome! As for whether they deduct the points or not for the room, I have no idea. You'd have to ask them.

I am not going to give them that kind of play when I can get comped rooms for less play at Plaza/Las Vegas Club as well as Four Queens.
