Ok, but I couldn't get myself to do that since you seem to say that the machines could be returning as low as 80% in Florida.

I personally would not want to play that badly enough to want to play a game with such a potentially low return.

If I were in that situation, I would just rather practice and wait until I could get to a place like Las Vegas.

I understand this, yet I get the Bug, and Vegas is too far away (Biloxi too). So I go once every 4-6 weeks with a $150 bankroll plus $50 budget limit for food and drinks (yes drinks, this is not Vegas).

Food/drinks usually comes out to about $30, and gambling loses are $50 on average. Not bad for under a hundred bucks..... Three hours of play, food, and 3-4 drinks.

But Vegas, is where we can let it rip! Don't like the casino, get off you feet, and go somewhere else. Drink away (No drink limits for us here) and be a VP slut at the bar, pure Heaven!

Yeah, we can definitely do better than Tampa, I haven't been to HR in a while, but I don't mind throwing some non-serious money at the Illinois Deuces machines.

Not sure where you live (we're in St. Pete, but I work in Tampa), but Beau Rivage still has some cheap air packages out of PIE. We're going later this month: air, transfers, two nights at the Beau (nice place to stay and eat, but we'll play elsewhere) for $199 per person. Something to think about. Also pays to shop for Vegas airfares all the time; I like kayak.com, I get daily notifications about airfares (covers everything but Southwest for us) and occasionally will jump on a round trip for under $200. Doesn't happen much anymore, of course, but still does on occasion.

That is where we have stayed in Biloxi (Beau Rivage) after hurricane Katrina kill Biloxi. Biloxi is a really nice place, has so so VP schedules, but it's not rigged, so it good for us. We used to do Biloxi alot with the package deals you have mentioned. Get on Plane, 1hr 10minutes later, we are there! We just loved that!

That is what make Vegas difficult for us, for it is a haul.... long haul. This time, we are doing something special, spending more for the flight and doing non-stop both ways!!!! That nonsense of changing planes (that we have done every time), really makes for a long travel day. It is like 7+ hours, and the non stop from Florida is around 4hr 50 minutes. We want to get on the plane knowing the next stop is Vegas! So this will be something different and nice for us.

Also, the transferring of planes is not too bad going out, but coming back, it just sucks. So when we leave Vegas, it will be nice knowing, the next stop is home.

The Biloxi packages stopped in 2009 when the Beau and the IP lost the Air Tran contract. Does anyone know who they have contracted with again? We tried to make our own package, and could not get direct airflight to Gulfport, without changing planes. We were too used to the direct, 1hr 10 minute flight, and the transfers really added the total travel time to like 4+ hours.

We said, if we are going to go through all that, why not just go to Vegas?

Last, be careful with that $199 Biloxi package, for I looked into it a couple months ago, and there are add ons, that brings the total trip price to $258 per person, double = $516 for a two night trip. Add food, and you are starting to get up there in cost$.

Yet, we love the short air travel time, the Beau is a beautiful place, great food, and some good food discounts to be found (Prime Rib special that tased so good both times there). And yes, when I was there, I was again a HUGE VP Bar slut and just loved it.

Right now, I am looking forward to really sluttin it out in Vegas Big Time! In a couple weeks, we are going out on the Victory Casino Cruise for the first time. I see they have VP bartops at the small six person bar. I plan to be sluttin there for at least part of the cruise too. I let everyone know how that goes.

Since this topic seems to be getting away from Vegas, maybe this topic needs to be created somewhere else, but where, Kitchen Sink, or where?

How about the

East or the Mississippi borad?

For Florida HR, Victory Casino Cruise, HR in Hollywood, and Broward County Racisnos..

Can we get a following?

OK, I start, HR has rigged VP..

That was good enough to start it last time..

We are going on the Victory Casino Cruise soon...

This is a breather, for us, till we wait to Vegas in Sept.

Vegas is too far to see, still not in Double Digits yet!!!
