What does everyone do after a big hit on a machine or table?

I often get to aggressive after a big hit on a slot machine, say $300.00 or higher.  I guess I should go cash out the ticket and have a drink at the bar and come off the high. Most of the time I get crazy and up my bet or stakes, that's what the Casinos want us to do. Anyone else have similar habits?

When/if my total win reaches $200 or over I hit the cash out button, put that ticket in my purse separate from that day's allotment.  I might insert another bill, see if the machine is in a hitting mood.  If it doesn't show me something in a few minutes I cash out and leave that machine.  I find this helps me end up with more left over for the next day, or for going home with, than playing it all back in every time.

But I think cashing out and heading for a nice drink or walking around or bathroom break is also a great thing to do.  Just that I almost never do!  I wanna keep playing...something!  LOL.

I've found that when I hit a royal (usually for $1,000) I lose all interest in playing even one more hand. More often than not, I'm hungry then, so I seek out the best restaurant in the casino and chow down. Often, I'll order dessert, which I wouldn't do normally.

Also, if I do keep playing, I might drop down in denomination. That way, I can keep playing without blowing back a substantial portion of my big win. For instance, if I hit 2222 on a .25 Deuces machine, I might cash out and put $100 in the same or another machine--and play dimes or even nickels.

From a logical standpoint, whatever reason you have for playing shouldn't be affected by whether you're ahead or behind at the moment--but there's no worse feeling than posting a big win and then blowing it all back.

A friend of mine used to, after a big hit, immediately run out and buy something for his wife. That preserved his win, got him away from the machine, and scored big diplomatic points. She wasn't going to object to his playing!

Happy wife,happy LIFE.

 I just keep playing.

"Yeah, I was up a LOT, but I put it back in."  That's OK with me.I'm here to GAMBLE!    Especially if I meet someone at the bar.I'll just park it right there."Another beer? Sure."

Thanks for the post,Rocky.

ok some will have a ball jumping on me ,,,,but I take the winnings of a big strike.. go right to my room ..and its in the mail on the way home ...my stay continues as if it never happened ...and once I get home .. its the last piece of mail I open .. makes the trip have a perfect ending

Question...you mail cash?

I've bought a money order and made it out and mailed it to myself. Costs $1.50 at the post office.

I take my dialy winnings and deposit them at a branch of my bank that I find in Vegas.

The P.O. is just a few blocks from Fremont Street.  I sold an item on E bay and took it there to be mailed to Arizona. I knew it would sell when I was there! I bought the priorty box in my carry-on. It was just a Snap-On wrench.  $7. priority mail. The wrench went for $22.00  You can also mail your SWAG to yourself to save some baggage space. Dirty clothes works, too.

I have mailed casino chips back to the casino for a casheirs check.$1,200 in black. I left town in a hurry.OOPS.

Hmmm..interesting
