Win Cards Usage Restrictions

Hi Group,

I know that in the October 2015 LVA, I saw a piece mentioning that Win Cards are still available at Circus-Circus, Mandalay Bay and New York New York. Does anyone know what the restrictions are (if any) on using them?

I do seem to remember that supposedly at CC, you can get (use) them (both the $30 for $20 as well as the $15 for $10 packages) once per six month period from when you last used them.

Thanks in advance!

It's been many years but if I recall correctly Mandalay Bay was a once per lifetime deal. I do remember using win cards multiple times at CC but can't remember if it's once per year or once per six months.
we do win cards every year. We do Mandalay Bay and Circus Circus every year. The Four Queens is a once per lifetime.

Then I must be a zombie, because I've done it annually for years.

No subterfuge, just pleasantly asking.
The October 2015 LVA says that Four Queens is now not doing the Win Cards anymore.

As I'm looking at the Las Vegas Blackjack Survey link on Wizard Of Vegas website, I'm seeing that (if what is there is accurate) most of what he has listed as the Blackjack games at Circus-Circus now are paying 6 To 5 with a house advantage of 1.8% or higher (except at the $25 level). I'm also seeing that this is the case for Mandalay Bay as well although at New York, New York, the $10 tables have a casino advantage lower than 0.50%.

If this is the case, then am I correct that the house advantage would be lower against the player if the player was playing at Craps (if you bet on a line bet) instead?

I do realize that at least at Circus-Circus, at a $25 table, a player could bet the entire $45 on a bet with about a 0.50% casino advantage and if a blackjack ended up being dealt to this player, at the 3:2 table, the player would be paid $45 Plus Half Of That Amount For A Total Amount Of $67.50 whereas at the 6:5 table, the player would be paid $54 ($45 X 1.2 To 1) total. And so the 3:2 player would end up being paid $13.50 more than the 6:5 game player would be paid (based on a $45 bet).

Win card chips don't tend to discriminate which table game you play, or the bets you make. If you're using win cards, they assume you're a beginner or sucker. There's a few options:

1) Craps pass line with odds - realistically about 0.8% house edge assuming $5 pass line and $10 double odds bet etc.
2) Baccarat - bet on Dealer - 1.21%
3) Blackjack (even 6:5) = 1.8% (but bear in mind you're getting a 50% bonus by buying the win cards chips)
4) Roulette - red or black, 2.63%

Best of luck with whatever you play.
Hey Group,

I just ended up finding info on the Wizard Of Odds site about using Non-Negotiable Chips on the different games and what returns are faced. That was very interesting, so do check it out! Do note that for Blackjack, for comparison purposes, the Wizard chose a 6 Deck game with Blackjack paying 3 To 2 plus other rules including Double Down After Splitting Pairs, Resplit Aces and No Surrender and so this example may not be so accurate.

It's found at: https://wizardofodds.com/gambling/promotional-chips and then from there, scroll down to "Non-Negotiable Chips" and then go to the "Values" section to see the breakdown between the different types of bets and what the return rate is.
