NHL Total from Charlie J

NHL Total from Charlie J >>I played San Jose/Vancouver first period OVER 1.5 (+115). The Sharks are one of the fastest starting offensive teams in the NHL. In fact, they score an average of 1.5 goals in the first period and allow a little more than a half goal in the first period.. They score more goals in the first period than they do in the second or third periods. Both teams get more shots on goal in the first period than they do in the second or third periods. The fact that I was able to get +115 on the play caused me to pull the trigger.
Looking at some different options I see: YES a score in the first 10 minutes -125 and Sharks score first -115 Both look like good options that isolate the Sharks scoring early. The best I could find on the first period OV 1.5 was +110.
never really got out of thegates these teams tonight - both very sluggish....
In a night where 6 of 7 games had 5 or more goals and the Grand Salami sailed over, this was the one game where goals were tough to come by. Both Dallas and St Louis put up 4 spots in the 2nd P of their game. Seguin for Dallas scored four goals. If three is a hat trick, what is four? While looking at the Dal/Cal recap I noticed that Calgary has been outscored 11-1 in the first period over the last couple weeks. Is there a preferred source for 1st P Hockey stats?

Sorry to see this so late. Key issues to consider in these spots are length of road trip, how far along they are on it, and whether it's the 2nd of a back-to-back game. The latter wasn't true but is true tonight. Also consider 5 of 6 have gone into overtime. I like under 5' tonight. If they go under tonight, look at the over vs. Chicago because it is the last game of the trip and also precedes a rare three consecutive days off stretch. If they win tonight in regulation (especially if it is over), look for 1st period and game under vs. Chicago on Sunday as well.
