This is such a good bet to arb. I was seeing 8-1 before the Derby on a TC. I keep passing it up, probably because I foolishly remember when you could get 30-1 on a TC. I got 35-1 one year at Cybersportsbook. It would be a rare year that you couldn't successfully arb 8-1 after the Derby. The Derby winner would have to collapse at the end of the race with an injury, I think. This year a $2000 bet before the Derby would win $16K if there's a TC. But you could take the -260 on "No TC" to win $5K, and have $13K at risk on that bet. So you'd net out $3K either way. Next year! --Dunbar

I took -240 on the NO at William Hill. Social Inclusion and Ride on Curling will be the horses I'll be rooting for. May take some match ups using Ride on Curling. Some places like 5 Dimes has the disclaimer that California Chrome must run in Preakness for the bet to have action. William Hill had no such requirement.

-240 seems very good. Chrome's 1-day sore throat may have scared some money away to keep it from going even lower. I like Ride on Curlin in the matchups, too. I REALLY liked the -120 I saw at 5Dimes on RideOnCurlin vs Bayern. My line cries out for it, and it has the added advantage that Bayern is probably an all-or-nothing horse, while Curlin is a steady closer. Too bad I farted around just long enough for the line to move to -145. By the next morning (yesterday), it was -165.
