Long time BJ Tournament player Fred Heilman passed away recently. Fred was always at just about every tournament that was held in Las Vegas, along with traveling to out of state events with his tournament partner Sammy Vaughn who also has passed a few years back.
Fred you will be missed but you are now back with Sammy.
Sammy and Fred were partners when Sammy took down the Hilton's Tournament that paid Sammy $1,000,000 dollars. Neither one of them changed one bit or flaunted their windfall other than they both went out and bought 2 brand new Jeep Liberty together even the same color. It was always fun watching them walking to their car in the casino parking lot. They never knew which was their car.
