When counting and winning does it help to hide chips?

...in order to hide winnings or do they always know what you win anyway?

In detail, while playing in Pennsylvania (barrings are permitted), I usually buy in for $1000 (500 in black and the rest in green). Somes I will hide a few or all of the black in my hand and cash in just the green. But last night when winning and taking winnings in black, I heard the dealer tell the boss that she had given me six in black. So now i am wondering if they inventory all of the blacks given out in the computer and hiding them does no good and perhaps even alert them. Maybe I should hide greens? Or perhaps not even bother. Anyone?
Greens. $200 per session adds up.
Getting caught hiding chips is like screaming "I'm a card counter, please bar me".
Black chips are always accounted for and taking them off the table is never a good thing, especially if you are the only player with them. When you are at at full table with a lot of chips on the felt you may be able to hide some green chips but never attempt to hide black it will only be HEAT upon you.
