I guess you don't have to be stable to pick winners. I had to stop watching when he got into his rant against the casino industry killing racing, I was afraid I might witness a heart attack.
I do feel that the casino companies do view the horse racing as a necessary evil to be able to operate in these states,but the infusion of money for the racing industry provides the horsemen a lifeline,now it is up to them to get back on their feet and find a way to market themselves to bring in new fans of the sport. I love horse racing, harness in particular, but if they can't find a way to be self supportive they will not survive,but to blame the casino industry,I think is wrong.
