This is my first post in this side of the board. When talking about tipping it becomes a sore spot with me.
I consider myself generous. If win a $100 I will tip $5 If it is over a $100 I will tip according to the service.A one dollar tip , I would think would draw a gaze and deservingly so especially anything over a hundred.

A huge pot and a one dollar tip . I would give you a dirty look even if I wasn't the dealer.
Take your money and run .I hope your generosity bites you elsewhere.

In a game where long term the absolute best players in the world are making 5 big blinds / 100 hands against a 3$ rake long term, to give away an extra 2.5 big blinds when you win a nice pot (assuming we are playing 1 2 NL or 2 4 Limit) is tantamount to long term poker suicide.

In a live 1-2 game, it's more like 20 bbs / 100 for a pretty good player.

Nanonoko's stats are probably a reasonable look at to what's possible, since he plays so much and is so good. Over a million hands (at each limit) he's won 7bbs/100 at 6 max 2-4, 4bbs/100 at 3-6, and 6bbs/100 at 5-1/. And those are all ridiculously tough games compared to live 1/2 NLH.
yeah... i worried some about those number being online versus live. is your 20 big blinds taking into account rake, jackpot drop, and tip?
I don't have any hard numbers for live play, since we just don't have tracking data. I just kind of pulled that out of my ass, and I've seen it on forums as reasonable. I think the best achievable winrate is pretty high, but I'm not sure how high, especially adjusted for the other costs you mentioned.
Well, any way you shake it, i think the point is if you're more than just a recreational player, you can't make big tips if you intend to be a long term winner.

is there any way to find out more bonus on online poker,

At my regular place, MGM, i might be a little more generous if I was on a rush during that dealers time at the table.

That Thai dealer, the gal with the reddish highlights, carries a BlackBerry, about 36 or 38, perfect unblemished skin, has a tendency to let her gaze linger on you just a few seconds too long if she likes you...you might know who I'm talking about. Even her I usually tip only 1 buck. But I'm keeping my options open.

Trolling and saw this post.
