Getting $ Out of PS and FTP...

While I was able to get the latest FTP software update yesterday, I was unable to withdraw funds. I received a message to contact support (at a .co.uk email address). The message also said deposits and withdrawals were "restricted."

it's gonna be a few weeks. they need to find a payment processor (enjoy the irony of that for a moment).

and obv when I said a few weeks I meant days...

PS is apparently open for business.

So can we withdraw our winnings - or just our deposits?
I'm betting that winnings are deemed illegal - but recovering deposits is not an issue.
Anyone know?

I withdrew my entire Stars bankroll yesterday. What I wasnt able to do was cash in on some bonuses I qualified for and use up the rest of my fpps buying stuff. Stars said about 15 days to get the check..

Heard that Stars has an agreement with the Feds to open its cashier for players to cashout.

Unfortunately for me, I got a new PC recently and hadn't downloaded the Stars client when the shit came down. While I was able to get to www.pokerstars.com last night, I couldn't download the client to process a withdrawal.

I emailed support.

Don't bother trying to download the .com software as you can't. Also the cashier from the .net software is not available. (No cashier button)

Also any tourneys that pay any cash money are not open to US players. As of 1 May 2011 00:01 EST.

I was able to update my PS software via the .eu site while the .com site was shut down. I don't know if you can still do that.
