Hammah Challenge...Feline Style

As in me starting from $0 on Sportsbook.com.

I've won $1 twice in its 3-step, freeroll, satty structure that awards $1 cash to the winner of the 3rd step.

Pissed away most of the first one, but won another last night and built that a bit playing .02/.04 LHE....eeeyewwwwwww!!!

Follow me live on sportsbook.com as I turn nothing into riches!
Update...after doubling+ up on my first or second hand of the night and losing most of my stack after having a set cracked, the following hand happened and propelled me to almost a $4 roll:

Game is .02/.04 LHE, and I get KK in MP. It's raised, I 3-bet, and get at least 3 callers. Flop comes:

T K K....

I check/call the flop, and the turn makes the 3rd spade on board...good action card, and the turn is capped. River comes:

T, and the war begins as I get HU with another player. At this point it's worth noting that, like most live and on-line LHE games, when HU there is no capped betting. You can't go all in in one bet, but you can get there one bet/raise at time...back and forth.

Well, that's what we do, and not until I get down to my last bet does villain say, "If you have KK, I'm going to puke." I say, "Start puking," and put my last .04 in.

He calls and shows his TT for under-quads. Ouch!

That is all.
Good job kitty!!!

I ended the hammah challenge with a little over $600 all from that last 3 euro I failed to cashout last summer. Would have love to see what I could have done with that roll but I have to be happy with that. Trying to play that way live which is SOOOO much harder. But where I play the players are just so much better that I can no longer play small ball in cash. Have to make thinner value bets and push players more or all that will happen is getting sucked out on or winning small pots.

Good luck and keep us posted!

h
Thanks, hammah.

As you'd expect, there are alot of very bad players at .02/.04. So my expectation is to be able to build my roll quickly.

Had an interesting hand last night where I turned a set of 7s and rivered a full boat. We were HU, so the betting was uncapped. We went back and forth for 5 or 6 bets before I realized that if villain had 88, he had a bigger boat than mine. So I just called. Turns out he was also jamming the river without the nuts...he had turned a str8 and river didn't help him. Phhhew!

Well, I got the stack up to $6 and change, but then went busto. I can get a little stubborn in LHE vs donks, but the number of 2- and 3-outers and runner-runners that I ran into was significant.

I called one of the runner-runners on the flop when it came A 6 9 or something like that and A7 called the way as it came 8 T.

I won another dollar later but pissed that away too.
