The Hammah challenge...

Well I actually despise online tournies. Just sitting there is just so boring. That said I didnt stop the challenge. I would have pulled my money out if I could but since the option to transfer to my checking account is gone I cant. I will have to wait until I bust or get to $500..

I really can appreciate you grinders .. I just dont know how you deal with playing online for endless hours.. I would go insane.. at least live you get out a bit, be a little social, eat something good..

Ha, I feel the opposite. When I play live I get like 30 hands an hour, what a bore. If I get bad beat or coolered, it will take hours to recover on expectation. In online the long-run is much closer. I prefer to spend my time out, actually out, hanging out and socializing with my friends, not working.

I would too if I could. My knee really limits what I can do right now. I can over friends houses for a movie or play wii or something like that but thats it. Playing live for me is a big social outlet.. getting me out of the house while not having to stand or walk which I cant do right now.

Thought I would give everyone an update.. Had a rough week two weeks ago but made some changes and have been rolling along since then. I am now up over $250 and close again to another $25 bonus. I will wait though for the $50 bonus for only 2k more fpps of which I should earn in the next couple of weeks.

I found cap games at 5c 10c and have fallen in love. Problem is Stars is taking them away. right now they are still playing. as the tables die out so will the game. then the next level that cap games are played are 25c 50c.. thats a much bigger game and my bankroll cant really support it. I am very torn about this because I seem to have a real knack for these cap games. I sent another email to stars and begged them to keep the 5c 10c cap.

I may take a few shots at the bigger cap game but most likely will just have to muddle along at 20-50bbs games.. oh shit.. stars is taking those away too on Feb 10th. they said its to simplify the choices but all that will be left are 40-100 and 100-250bbs games.. these are all deep stack games and will end up being much tighter.. Cap games are great because the players dont seem to understand stack to pot ratios (ie no real implied odds for spec hands) and more importantly players like to gamble knowing that they only can lose 20bbs. Thing is they lose 20bbs over and over again. Since I have discovered these games my win rate has gone up significantly..

I will keep tracking down the remaining 5c 10c cap games until they are all gone and then I will cry for a week..

Well stars shut down my favorite 5c 10c cap games.. I have played some of the 25c 50c games but they are not as good.. Still playing the new 5c 10c tables and as expected the deep stacks have made them much tighter.. Still I am now officially over $400.. had a rough time on saturday but had a great sunday..

I am also just 200 fpps away from my $50 bonus .. so by the end of the week I should have a solid $450 bankroll. just $50 bucks away from a complete cashout if I wish. That said I think I will just keep playing.

I have been running very under EV lately at the live games and you just cant compete with 300 hands an hour online vs 25 or 30 playing live. Also there are some pretty bad players online and I just dont see this at my local casino anymore..

Its been a while gang since I last posted.

I blew past $500 to get to a peak of $622 only to see me settle back to around $500-$560... I have been in that range for over two weeks now. I try shots at the 25c 50c cap games and have been getting unlucky a couple of times and that has cost me at least $75 bucks ..

so I think for the time being I will just stick with 5c 10c for a while.. I need to get to $1000 I think before I move up to 10c 25c...

My win rate has also fallen dramatically now that the 5c 10c cap games are done.. I was up to around 7bbs/100.. now I am at around 3 to 4.. still respectable though.

anyways.. gang I am having arthroscopic surgery on the 22nd.. hopefully the dr will be able to clean out any floating cartilage in there and my knee will feel a bit better. otherwise I will have a knee replaceement after the WSOP is over in July.

Well its been a month and now time for another update.. Been playing more live lately but still play a bit online.. My online bankroll is just about $650.. I play stakes from 2c5c to 10c 25c just depends on what bad players are online at the time..

ran bad for about a couple of weeks and hovered around $500 before I broke through a couple of weeks ago..
