I'm up $1k live at 1-2 in three day-trips to Foxwoods. This is the most I've ever played live.
My general notes are:
1. People are very bad, much worse than online.
2. Lots of limping weak ranges. Raising limpers in position and firing equity + dry flops is very profitable.
3. Fold to raises. This includes 3-bets, flop raises, whatever. Raises are very, very strong.
4. I thought it would be easier to get stacks. I haven't gotten a ton of stacks. I attribute it to two reasons. a. Raises are very strong, other people know that, so they are often capable of big folds. b. I'm raising too big against bad players. I tend to raise to a size where I could be bluffing. When I have someone crushed, I should raise to more exploitable (smaller) sizes. Also, their ranges are wider than online, so the smaller sizing gets equity from extra part of their range.
5. Because of 4a above, I think semi-bluffing in spots is very profitable, and I probably don't do it enough.
