Another Dancing with the Stars Shocker

So, this is becoming somewhat consistent...I'm always wrong.

Last season, I was sure Brandi would win...this year Chelsea was BY FAR the best dancer, however THIRD place? How could America be SO wrong?

As much as I appreciate how well Kirsty did, escpecially since she's 60 YEARS OLD...good for her, but she should have been third or fourth...not second.

Hines made for a good story (from the ghetto to Broadway), and I suppose America ate it up.

The finale production was one of the best ever and the "rap" clip creative and hilarious.

Congrats DWTS for another wonderful, entertaining season.

Fear not- next Thursday-- this Thursday is the start of SYTYCD!!!!

Kristy came from behind (so to speak) and she had a bigger fan-base (nyuck-nyuck)

I too was shocked that Chelsea & Mark finished 3rd. I thought it should have been Kirstie in 3rd.

I've heard rumors that Max will not be back next season. Say it ain't so Max!

I agree Jon the rap segment was hilarious!

The only shock to me is that this drivel is still on the air. It just goes to show you that with Jerry Springer, Maury, Judge Judy, Lost and the other low brow forms of "entertainment" just where the mental and moral compass is with today's adult. I should not be surprised because I know that most of these adult viewers grew up with daytime soap operas as the focal point of their existence. I know that my comments will not go well with many, that is fine with me. At least I have a life that does not revolve around this type of moronic behavior.

drmilled: Fortunately for you there are the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and PBS. All you need to do switch channels. Snobbery is very unbecomming.

sionow- You call it snobbery. I call it the truth. I prefer to live my life in reality, and not sit on the couch berating my T.V. while being "entertained" with moronic behavior and stupidity. Oh, you forgot to add A&E to your list of recommended channels for me to watch.

It's not the best dancer, it's a popularity contest. We in the DFW area missed most of the show because of all the tornado sirens that went off for hours. Lately, we are all getting to know our bathtubs rather well.

Unfortunately the show is about ratings not the best dancers. I was totally surprised that Kirsty came in 2nd. At least she CAN dance unlike Bristol Palin. Part of me wants to start a letter writing campaign asking the producers to have the judges scores count for 2/3 not 1/2.

drmilled don't go judging a book by it's cover. You have no idea what kind of jobs or pressures we have in our day. Sometimes "low brow" entertainment as you call it is what we need to recharge and de-stress ourselves.

To each his own. And yes, as sinow mentioned "change the channel"!

Insulting others for liking something you do not is kind of sad.

The words you use sound just like my mom talking about people watching sports.

I say to each his own and why not have some enjoyment in the world.
You choice and mine not an either or situation.
