Any "honest" politicians in Illinois?

This state seems to have more than it's share of characters in high office!

I assume you are referring to the newly elected Jessie Jackson Jr. who resigned just weeks after being re-elected by a 63% margin over a white republican opponent despite the fact he had not served for 6 months and was about to be indicted. Now the cost of the special election will exceed 5 million dollars - or the equivilent of all the federal tax dollars paid by 15+ people making $1m per year at a 35% tax bracket.

Not to mention the extra pension Mr. Jackson "earned" by being "re-elected".

Illinois voters get the elected officials they deserve ---- because the idiots vote for them!

Easier question would be ARE THERE ANY DISHONEST POLITICIANS IN ANY STATE................

Well, I know a politician that made the rich richer and the poor poorer and got re-elected saying he would make the rich poorer and the poor richer from Illinoissssss.

Well we did send one of our best to DC. Although I wish it was not for 4 more years ... Or even 4.
