Baby steps for Tea Partyistas and Occupiers

Why don't you folks learn how to vote? Seriously.

With local elections often being decided by as few as 15 percent of eligible electors, Congressional elections by less than half and Presidential elections by barely half, it is obvious that most of you actually FAVOR the status quo.

Shut up.

Start voting.
Amazingly, I find myself agreeing with Ken.

Ken, I think you were just insulted. Lol
Not an insult, just plain old astonishment on my part. And "Mush, quit trying to start something.

No worries. I remember Dubya once actually saying something logical, and we know he's Doc's hero, so the coincidence is kinda cool.
The turnout for the presidential election in 2008 was 57.37%
In 1876 it was a whopping 81.8%,at a time when you had to trudge miles by foot or horse to get to the nearest place to vote. Kinda sad that people don't participate in something so important. Bob

I guess you didn't notice what happened in the 2010 elections. The Tea Party played a large part in the change from the Democrat to Republican majority in the House of Representatives and they also influenced many state elections.

I've actually posted on an Occupy face book page that they should look and learn from the Tea Party model, but they are more interested in promoting and participating in chaos than putting people in office who share their views.
Yep, a pretty standard mid-term 38% turnout of eligible electors. Also a pretty standard mid-term change.

Here's what the Tea Party is going to do for us, get Obama re-elected.
