Big shocker the "One" wants to raise the debt limit again

So when Oblama gets back he wants the congress to raise the debt limit AGAIN. Yes it is part of the original debt debacle this summer. But no real cuts have been made and the stuper I mean super commitee wasted their time.

So it will from 15.2 to 16.4 trillion. And still they do not get it. I hope he and Pelosi have a real loooong vacation in Hawaii. Maybe have congress join them.

Yeah, the tea party wants a balanced budget. They also want to continue the unfunded occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan with no timeline..... And they want to gear up military spending for another unfunded war with Iran.... And they want to build the grreat Wall of China along the Mexico boder.... And under no circumstances do they want the unreconciled-trillion-dollar Bush tax cuts to be touched.... And they want to get rid of Obamacare so they can revert back to the unpaid for 1/2 trillion dollar healtcare plan the GOP passed in 2006..... Oh...and polls also say they overwhelmingly dont want Medicare and Social Security benefits cut either.

But, yeah, aside from all that they want a balanced budget.
Once again, pj, I couldn't agree with you more.
and.....I wish I had your 'way with words' too.

Only answer is a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Consitituion. It should be pretty clear by now that Democrats and Republicans alike can't balance a budget without remedial help.
If the all-knowing Founding Fathers had thought the country needed a balanced budget amendment, wouldn't they have provided for one?

No. In their wisdom, they provided a method to amend the Constitution instead.

I guess I just didn't notice all the righteous indignation when Reagan raised it 17 times.
