Dinner

I think the California coast has been heavily fished for decades. We don't have the amount of seafood we once did. For example, when I was a kid, there was inexpensive abalone everywhere. Now, it's either outrageously priced or is farm raised -- and you should be getting the farm raised.
Grab that handy-dandy good-fish-to-eat guide from our friends at Monterey Bay Aquarium. It predates us, TB, but the salmon and steelhead runs used to be epic, even down south. So much product moves through San Pedro. I never thought twice about being able to source what I wanted down south.
