You know what is funny .... the guy in the second picture is proposing many of the exact policies championed by the guy in the first picture.....only to have the first guy's party now call it "Class Warfare" or an "Entitlement Society"

The lack of government sure has made Somalia, Afghanistan, and Yemen great.

I am sure that many anti-government Americans are planning moves there as we speak lol

Oh please. And I suppose pro government folks are extolling the virtues of North Korea, Iran, China and Russia.

When someone says that government is the solution to every problem, I'll be no less critical.

Of course no one says that.

But lots of people do say the opposite, equally ridiculous thing.

There is an enormous difference between saying the government is the problem (and should be fixed) and saying the solution is no government. Please show me any responsible politician who advocates no government?

The drawing that initiated this thread simply said, as President Reagan did, that "Government is the problem".

If the drawing had instead said "Government is the problem, we need to fix it", you'd have a point no one could disagree with.

And President Kennedy said, "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country," according to your standards, he was saying that Americans should never ask anything of their country but should instead just serve the country.
