Glad last week is Over

Have you ever just had one of those weeks you are just soooo glad that it over. Well that was last week for me. Monday started with a phone call from our youngest that he was headed to hospital because he had been in a car wreck. He had loaded his work truck to head to another park (he works for the Ohio Parks Dept) and hit a 24 ft box truck that had run a red light and then he bounced into a utility pole truck. He ended up with a badly broke finger that required surgery and surgeon is hopeful he will regain full use of his hand. To top it off he won't be able to work for at least 8 weeks and they don't even want him to go to school (he has 3 weeks of chemistry lab to finish college). He will get workers comp, but it is based on his last few months which is winter time--not many hours. Errrrr. Other son got DNA test back that our Christmas baby is not our baby, girl was not telling the truth as to who the father was.

Time to take a deep breath and regroup. When is my next vacation????????

Wow, Lt.ax49, that was certainly one stressful week.

Sounds like the injured one is a go getter and he won't let these setbacks take him out. So many blessings...he wasn't hurt worse, and he's almost finished with school, got the most of it done!

Your other son may be heartbroken. But he has been given the gift of seeing that this young lady is dishonest and may not be the best person to share a life with.

Hope you get that vacation sooner than later!

OMG, I am so sorry to hear that!! Remember any one can be a father it takes someone special to be a daddy!!
