Can you believe it? I'm sooooo outraged ! The government is trying to kill the private sector and shove some kind of healthcare overhaul down our throats. I'm going to go hide grandma before John Boehner and his evil group of robots try to kill her - because that is exactly what they plan to do. Its true. I heard somebody say it on the radio.

I wonder how many pages are going to be in this bill? I wonder if they are going to put the committee meetings on national TV? I wonder if they are going to get it scored by the CBO?...oh wait, its just the CBO so it doesn't count...so I'll just make up my own accounting score.

PJ, I was amused too when I saw the Repubs were coming up with a plan of their own, only AFTER they repeal the current plan. I still wonder, why again, did they wait until now to come up with their own plan?!!

Green, I believe the dem's wouldn't let them contribute anything to the bill. Remember? Your leader Pelosi stated you have to pass the bill to know what's in it.

Isn't it funny, now the dem's lost control they want to work together, where when they were in control "Rep needed to sit in the back".

Actually there are over 100 GOP ammendments in the "Obamacare" law. And the original comittee for the bill was a bi-partisan board consisting of 3 Democrats and 3 Republicans. Republican Chuck Grassley was one of the original sponcers of a nearly identicle bill back in 1994...but he abandoned the bi-partisan panel in the new effort because suddenly the bill he liked in 1994 was really a secret conspiracy to kill grandma.

But I'm on pins and needles to see the massive overhaul the GOP will propose to replace the Obamacare law they wont overturn. Mostly, I'm anxious to hear the deafening silence from the tea party crowd when the bill is formulated in back rooms with lots of lobiests, without TV, with a thousand pages, and no amendments from the other side..

And we are suppose to believe an IL democrat?

I repeat a former post ---- any Illinois voter (I am one) who votes for a Democrat gets exactly what they deserve. IMHO if you vote for a democrat in Illinois you are an Idiot and they are plenty of them....
