Not as impressive as last month when the market dropped 200 points while he was giving a speech

Yeah. Conservatives suddenly think tax cuts are a bad idea...and Hoops gets right in line.
Whatever Obama likes they hate - even if they liked it a day earlier. Its not the least bit surprising or even amusing anymore. Just kinda sad.
"Yeah. Conservatives suddenly think tax cuts are a bad idea...and Hoops gets right in line. "

owebama prosposed a $450b spending plan with no plan on how to finance it. He takes a vacation, diddles with it for a while and then wants it passed right way because it is so urgent.

The plan is not all tax cuts. The cuts and credits that were proposed are temporary (as all owebama tax cuts are). Temporary cuts and credits are not beneficial to hiring as the incentive to hire is gone after a year but the employee cost is still there.

Other items in the plan such as the extension in unemployment benefits does not create jobs (it will get passed though). The rest of the proposal benefits the usual suspects - owebama supporters - teacher and state unions. There is also yet another mortgage fix & money to renovate homes so we can to the huge inventory of unsold homes.

Every item has had historical bipartisan support...including the infrastructure which most Republicans secretly begged for behind the scenes while preaching to Sean Hannity about how much they hate it. The argument that infrastructure spending does not create jobs more ridiculous than the claim Obama is an illegal immigrant from Kenya...unless you believe Jesus built the Hoover Dam in seven days like the Bible says

A million+ jobs can be created by having the EPA and other govt agencies stop stonewalling oil/gas/coal/nuclear projects and those projects don't cost the govt anything

hoops2 - your suggestion makes too much sense to be put into effect by the current administration. Also, the oil industry would have a coronary, after all, they have the American motorist "over a barrel" while they make unprecedented profits.

Just an FYI, PJ, MSN and Dem talking points are not good sources for "behind the scenes"

"Also, the oil industry would have a coronary, after all, they have the American motorist "over a barrel" .

The energy companies want this.

Currently oil demand is 99% of production capacity. Any supply disruption or increased demand will create shortages
Obama should get rid of the Eastern Seaboard for drilling that he opened - as well as all the new Gulf Drilling since the big oil spill where the oil companies were exposed to be liars about their ability to contain such a mess.

I'm sure Obama would gain Hoops' support in the next election if he reduced drilling back to the levels of the administration that Hoops enthusiastically voted for twice.
Permits for new wells whether they are in the Gulf, east coast or Anwar are not being approved as the EPA and other agencies are holding them up. Increases are due to increased production of present wells.
A new oil pipeline from Canada's oil sands is also being held up due to the EPA.

The same goes for coal and nuclear

enough said....

Except for one question to Hoops. How many new nuclear plants did the guy you voted for twice approve? And how many are approved from the illegal immigrant you didn't vote for?
