I'm thinking a helluva lot of people have changed party affiliations as a result of all the political masterblathery around here. What say ye?

Ken, I change my party affiliation almost daily, depending on the "logic"' on the Sink political threads.

Friedmush, the real question is . . . do you secure your valuables in the room safe or not? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think with all the compelling arguments how could it not have an effect.

I know Cathy and I have changed our party affiliations. No longer will be party at Battista's!

I still don't party downtown, and I don't need a safe cuz I leave valuables AT HOME.
Why people bring their "nice" jewelry on trips in the first place?

Hey CLV,i'm curious(and honest being a smartass) why would you own jewelry that you wouldn't want to wear whenevr you go out to a nice place,a show or dinner or whatever? I never quti understood that, its' like people who nave really nice dinnerware but never eat off it it. Why not?,its what is was meant for?

I wear at home. I do NOT take jewelry/nice clothes/etc., on trips/vacations.

Anybody whose LOST anything, or had a nice item stolen while on trips/hotels rooms/etc.,
have learned..........don't bring with you. period.

For me a room safe is quite high on my list of considerations.
I use it for passports and cash

A dumbass can lose stuff either home or away. If you can't flaunt it, except to the servants, put your money elsewhere.
