A high vantage point east of the Strip to take a Photo of the skyline??

I have a buddy that is a professional photographer and asked me if I knew of a spot east of the Strip where he could get a good photo of the Strip and the sunset behind it later in the day. He requested a parking lot roof or anything with height were he could get his shot without attracting to much attention. Any replies would be appreciated. Thank you , Jazzlover
I believe that the parking garage at Green Valley Ranch has a full strip view, but that is quite a distant shot. On a different note, where Summerlin Parkway meets 215 on the West side of the valley is a great place to get a shot of the entire Las Vegas Valley, as your altitude there is equal to being on the top of the Statosphere. The view at night with the lights is spectacular.

Maybe the garages at the Hard Rock or Terribles
Other than the parking garages, you won't find much east of the strip that's very high. If you head west the elevation increases, but gradually.

Good Luck!

How far away does he want to be?
M hotel is more South, but, isn't there a restaurant on top, that would
be higher than their pkg. garage.
Try taking Charleston East up and see how good it is from there. Good view of the valley from there. He might be able to take a picture from the road or maybe a parking lot somewhere. I have not been up there in quite a while. But it is facing West.
