I Phone 4s USER>>>>>JUST VENTING

I have been an Iphone user for 2 years. 29 days ago my Iphone was misplaced/stolen. I am a tech kind of guy and a satisfied Mac customer. I know that iPhone 5 will be released soon. I tried to use a cheaper phone then hold out until I would be in a 30 day buyers remorse sequence so that I could get an I Phone 5. I take a 2 year contract and used my discount to get a 32 Iphone 4S for $299 plus the usual charges. Today is the last day that I can return my phone and get a full refund. After today the phone is mine. I am a bit frustrated that I will be outside the window to get the newer model with my once every 2 year discount by just a few days. I use my phone for work and it would be great to turn this one on and get the newer model in a week or so but this is where I am at.
I just wanted to get this out of my system. The Price on my model will probably go down very shortly but it does not appear that I will be able to take advantage of it. This should be my biggest issue !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck to all.
yea, I guess with the circumstance you've encountered, I will probably feel a bit sorry for you, however, the 4s phones aren't evenn a year old...I bought my 4 the day the 4s came out, which was October 2011. I just couldn't see spending all that money on a phone that the bugs' of siri needed to be worked out.

It has been rumored that the 4s will indeed be $99 in a few days. I have no plans on replacing my phone now. I'll wait out the contract and by then, Apple will be on the 6...or what ever they want to call it, and I'll still by the one behind model.

I guess that with a bit of luck I might be able to wrangle some sort of credit with AT&T. Sort of caught. Great if I could get by on a basic phone for a bit but a lot of my work comes through being able to get email anywhere. Thanks for the reply. Jazzlover
I want an I Phone next time. I am a long time Sprint customer and my 2 year contract is up in December. My plan is to get the I phone 4 at that time, as the price should be significantly lower. I don't really care about being a model behind, the I Phone 4 does all that I need it to do.

Any one know the differences between the 4 and the 5 model??

My guys all have the 4. I still have a 3!!! lol
Had to replace my 3 shortly before the 4 came out..........I was in your position too.

So now, I will be first in Fam to get the 5, thanks to being stuck with the 3 for so long.
But, I will wait til the New 5 dust clears. No hurry unless my 3 conks out.

Agree with above. Just enjoy your 4. My guys love it.

And probably when its time to replace, you will be just in time for the 6.
Nice to read the feedback. Thanks for writing in. The 30 days are past and the phone is mine Iphone 4s. Nothing to do but be happy.
I guess it is human nature to complain when things don't fit one's personal timetable. By now everyone who owns a cellphone should know how it works. Sign a contract, buy the newest phone. Then comes the announcement of a newer, better model of cell phone. Suddenly the model you own, which was the latest and greatest, has suddenly become passe. News flash- that is the way it is and will always be as long as people continue to utilize the cell phone carriers format. Months ago, here on the LVA, someone asked about the best cell phone deals that were available. I forget who replied, but they said they had bought their child a no contract cell phone- and it was a great deal. Flat rate month to month charges,no termination fees, buy your own phone outright, all with unlimited texting, web and e-mail. I checked into it and now have 1200 minutes per month plus all of the aforementioned texting, web usage and e-mail for $40/month- with taxes about $43. Of course I don't buy into the hype and I don't feel the need to be like everyone else as far as needing the latest and greatest cell phone. After all, it is just a phone. The money I save I set aside for my Vegas trips.
