You better just stay out of the islands then, D. I think average annual temp varies (monthly) by 2-3 degrees and there's essentially no variability (monthly) to the humidity. Now there are HUGE differences between say Hilo and Kohala on the BI or heading to the top of Haleakela.
If I'm remembering correctly (this happened in the 1980's -- the second trip was in 1987), the highs were in the 80's and the humidity was about 80-90%. For me being a Native Southern California guy, it was just too much for me! But this is when my father wanted to go and it was a Free trip for me. I was mostly very bored there the second time since we did all of the touristy things the first time which made for a not bad trip.
