Lake Mead Water Level

Well,

Is the lake level up or is it still going down? I would think with all of the rain and snow that it would jump up a bit.

The recent storms raised the level of Lake Mead about one-fifth of one inch.

This for a lake that's about 130 feet below where the Water Authority would like it to be.

Long long long way to go.

I'm guessing that the Virgin River isn't a Virgin anymore!

It just seems the folks in the Vegas valley may be in for an interesting time in the next 10 years or so. The mountain snow pack seems to be running behind norms of late.

I see they want to do a water grab from up north. But even if that happens that supply would be a temp fix. Seems like not enough replenishment to the system.
