The midwest getting LV temps

Usual Florida summer here. Highs in low 90s and humidity that would rival any sauna. Believe it or not, since they started keeping official records back in the late 1800s, Tampa has never hit 100 degrees!
It's soupy out there- topping 101, in Jersey they say will be 103.

I can take heat if the Humidity is low but if it is high, I really can not take it!

And recently here in Southern California, we have been getting a lot of moisture coming up from Mexico (Las Vegas gets it too -- this is what causes the rains and flashflooding there).

Heat Plus Humidity really runs me down quite quickly! And so I definitely don't envy anyone in the Midwest or on the East Coast dealing with even higher humidity than what I am currently dealing with (around 40% or so)!

Here in Dallas, we're past day #20 of 100 plus. Our humidity rivals Houston too. Sticky, sticky. Sweat, sweat. Hydrate, hydrate.
There's talk we may surpass 1980 when we had over sixty days of 100 plus temps. This point last year, we had only topped 100 three times. Summers like this strain my chosen profession - landscape contractor. Bottled water is our friend!
Our icy and cold Super Bowl February doesn't seem so bad now.

Interesting I am in agreement. I will take the heat over the cold snowy winters.

I'll agree with that. Although I don't live up north, I have noticed on my visits there that it is more pleasant in the evening during the summer even if the daytime temp is unusually high. In the gulf coast region, it can remain warm and muggy during summer evenings.
