Name the commercial the line is from

Lady Clairol?

"I dreamed I went to a masquerade in my ____________ _____"

Holy smokes, it’s getting a little risqué in here.

I believe that may be (blushing) Maidenform Bra.

That would be Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, voiced by the late, great Thurl Ravenscroft! (Who also sang "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch", and sang/spoke on many Disney movies and theme park rides.)

This might be a toughie. Everyone remembers seeing the commercial, but who remembers who/what the commercial was for? Or the dialog that was spoken in it?

....was that the crying Indian?
I thought it was against pollution

not putting a new one up til I know i'm right (and i'm pretty sure I'm NOT right)

'cause if it's for an Oil Company I'd scream

JM,

You are right. As I recall it was part of the "Keep America Beautiful" campaign. I found it interesting because when I took a camping trip to the 4 corners area (Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico) I found the most trash spewed area to be on the Navajo Reservation and I remembered those commercials.

So post away with a new one.

Come to where the Flavor is,
Yeah, I remembered the "Crying Indian" ad as being against pollution and littering, but it wasn't until I looked it up that I remembered the "Keep America Beautiful" campaign specifically.

Remember littering? Used to be very, very common. People wouldn't think twice about tossing trash out their car window. (Well, I guess people still do that with cigarette butts for some reason.)

The irony of that commercial? Turns out the actor, Iron Eyes Cody, was really Italian. He had been passing himself off as a Native American for pretty much his whole career.

Sorry to interrupt. Carry on...

Is that Marlboro Country?

If I'm right, here's another ...
