Name the song the line is from Part II

Hi All,

Thanks for the extra lines, Tony. I think it’s “The sun ain’t goona shine anymore” and I think The Walker Brothers was the group. Great song, if that’s it. Who was it that died, Tony?

My next one:

We'll make them turn their heads every place we go

That looks like a good guess, Cyndee. I just read that John (Maus) Walker passed away in L.A. on May 7.

Your lyrics are from Be My Baby, by the Ronettes. I loved that one back then.

OK, here's another Spector-produced hit:

My baby's always the one to try the things they've never done

Good Morning All,

Sorry Jim. I get the feeling it should be obvious. But I got nothin’ so far.

My baby's always the one to try the things they've never done

OK, let's try a few hints:

This was a #1 song in 1962 (#19 in the UK).

Because the singer's boyfriend doesn't conform to societal norms, her friends tell her that "he'll never, ever be any good because he never, ever does what he should."

The singer counters that he is simply misunderstood, and says that she plans to stand by him because, "he is always good to me, always treats me tenderly."

I'll give it up later this evening if no one guesses it.

Just a guess:

"He's a rebel"
Hi vegas777,

I'm positive that you got it. With those hints, it can be no other. Do you have one?
Thanks Cyndeeta
New:
There's beauty up above and things we never take notice of
I do believe that’s “Suddenly” by Billy Ocean. What a pretty song.

From 1963:

Watusi pretty baby, c´mon and do the who-chee-coo

That's Little Latin Lupe Lu. I can think of two or three groups that did it, but I'm pretty sure The Righteous Brothers were first, right?

This was a #8 hit in 1961 (#3 in the UK):

You're my baby, you're my pet
We fell in love on the night we met

Ringo did a less than spectacular cover of it.
The original - was part of the soundtrack of Americam Graffiti - but I don't know the singer.

Regarding my earlier Wakker Brothers post -
here it is -
