Name the song the line is from Part II

Good Morning All,

This one is still on deck? I guess we could use some hints then.

The group is an act made up of siblings.
They didn’t twist or shout to this song, but you can if it’s your thing.
One comment from a listener on song facts: “This has such a great combination of funky guitar and cool synthesizer--not the kind of thing you typically heard from R&B groups in those days.”
The song was used in a commercial for, of all things, Swiffer mops.

More lines:

Hear me callin' out to you
'Cause it's all that I can do
Your eyes tell me to pursue
But you say look yeah, but don't touch, baby

nah, nah, nah don't touch

It looks like this has bombed. It’s “(Who’s) That Lady” by the Isley Brothers.

This should do better:

Drop a dime before I walk away.
Any song you want, I'll gladly play.

I believe this is green tambourine
New lyrics:
I'm going back to New Orleans to wear that ball and chain.

That be House Of The Rising Sun, by those Animals.

Back in a moment.

OK, this was a #10 hit (#1 Adult Contemporary) in 1984:

I've been in love
And I've lost
I can count the tears
But I can't count the cost

Edit: And a hint just for the hell of it. This British female singer was a member of a very popular 70s group whose other members were Stevie, Mick, Lindsey, and John. She was married to John for a while.

That’s a good one, Jim. “Got a hold on me” by Christine McVie.

Another # 10 song, this one from 1974:

Spend the day upon the motorway
Where the carburetors blast
Slow down driver wanna stay alive
I want to make this journey last.

Hi All,

I’m sorry I didn’t get back earlier. Here are some hints.

This group flew on to the music scene after the main man left another group that was a phenomenon in the sixties.

The song is about traveling the road ways in England and Wikipedia claims it was named after a Land Rover which had an evil nickname.

A few more lines:

Got no time for a rum and lime
I wanna get my right foot down
Shake some dust off of this old bus
I gotta get her out of town

From the hints, I'm guessing it's Paul McCartney and Wings but, so far, I can't place the lyrics.

I’d better give it up. It’s “Helen Wheels” by Wings. I hope this next one works. That's two duds in a row for me.

Let’s try:

I just ignore it,
but they keep saying
We laugh just a little too loud
We stand just a little too close
We stare just a little too long
