Maybe a great magnet pulls
All souls towards truth
Or maybe its Life itself
that feeds wisdom to its youth...

I’ve always loved that song there. The tune is so danceable and pretty. It’s “Constant Craving” by K.D. Lang. That’s a nice one.

BTW, mine was “25 Miles from Home” by Edwin Starr.

Late 1950s here:

Make your wish come true
For I'll be wishing
that you love me, too

I know the song but not the artists - it was a soundtrack in a movie in the 70's

The name of the song is what we look for.

The artists are secondary.

That's Standing In The Shadows Of Love, by The Four Tops.

More 60s:

Young hearts can go their way
Can't put it off another day

Some additional lines, including the four-word title, and a few hints:

____ ___ ____ _____
Young hearts can go their way
Can’t put it off another day
I don’t care what others say
They think we don’t listen anyway
____ ___ ____ _____

This soul music group consisted of four brothers (as in siblings, not brothas), and a drummer.

The 1968 song made use of numerous electronic effects (echo, reverb, fuzz distortion, etc.) to achieve a full and distinctive sound. In addition, a simple cowbell was played throughout the song to simulate the ticking of a clock.

As originally written, the song ran for about 11 minutes. A 3 minute version was produced for airplay.
