Sorry- No clue but as always I'll guess (no way you;d know these following guys Tony..)

Joe Walsh's Lifes Been Good to Me So Far or Dr. Hook's Mama told me not to come/

May I take my turn to move things along anyway.....?

It's Just No Good Anymore Since you Went Away
Now i spend my time
just making rythms of yesterday
Mine was Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda

Tonyrob

Hi All,

I did recognize “Help Me Rhonda” by The Beach Boys. But, I went looking for some lines and didn’t respond fast enough. N’cat’s is “One” by Three Dog Night.

This one is nice:

Though it might be the sound of your hello, that music I hear

A very great era indeed. Back in the USSR by the Beatles.

How about this one:

In the morning the parking tickets were just
like a flag stuck on my window screen

Originally released in 1969 as an album track by this British Supergroup, it was later released as a B side to another song. since then it has featured on 6 more of their albums and has been named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the top 100 songs of all time. It was the music behind a popular TV commercial about 7 years ago.

An interesting sidenote is that the bands drummer had so much difficulty playing on this song that they brought in a different drummer for the recording

More lines

And I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse

I'll be out most of the day, so if anyone wants the title -

Full screen - Full volume

But if you try some time ...

You Can't Always Get What You Want by the Stones. One of my all-time favourite covers is the Bossa N' Stones version of this song, which is here:

Let's try this one:

I will drink the wine while it is warm
And never let you catch me looking at the sun
