Sounds like a good plan to me. Go for it!!

OK, I guess my lyrics ain't gonna work. The song was Cinnamon, by "Derek." The artist had an earlier hit in 1963 called Mr. Bass Man, which he recorded under the name Johnny Cymbal.

Let's try this one:

All I'm sayin's I'm not ready
For any person, place, or thing
To try and pull the reins in on me

I'm sorry to hear nobody got the song and I didn't get back to you all earlier. I posted that like 10 hours before leaving for Vegas. Since I'm in LAS VEGAS NOW I'll let you all go so I can try to keep winning since I'm ahead about $300 dollars.

Depending on how much you win there could be a fine involved!

Hi All,

Much luck to Ben! Go get it, guy.

The latest is “Different Drum” by The Stone Poneys. Interesting, to me at least, that Mike Nesmith of the Monkees wrote it. I like a lot of what he wrote for them too.

This #3 hit is from 1973:

Don't worry that it's not good enough
for anyone else to hear

That's The Carpenters. I think it was just called Sing (as in Sing, sing a song), right? Very nice.

A 1980 album by this group spawned six singles. This one topped out at #24 on the Hot 100 (#11 Mainstream Rock) in 1981:

The wait may be worth it
But how can you wait anymore
When you're wondering what you're waiting for?

Well, Tony. That’s the next line. I know the rest. It’s “Don’t let him go” by REO Speedwagon.

Here’s a big hit from 1961:

Heeee, around and round and up and down
we go again!

Who's that flyin' up there??
Is it a bird? NOOOOOOO!!
Is it a plane? NOOOOOOO!!

Is it The Chubster singing Let's Twist Again? YEAAAAAAHH!!

Good one, Cyn!

From 1962:

Now everybody is doin' fine
They dance alone, or in a big boss line
And they discovered it's most, man
The day they did it to Please, Mr. Postman

Ooh, it’s “Mashed potato Time”. That Dee Dee Sharp sure did belt that one out. I really like that one.

Don’t sit down just yet:

C'mon and take a chance
and get-a with this dance
The Orlons say we gonna Wah Watusi, Lucy!

Q: Who's Lucy?
A: I dunno. Just some girl whose name rhymes with Watusi, I guess.

You be wearin' me out, Cyn, but I'll bet I can probably do another dance:

Now gimme a little bit of drums, by himself there
Now gimme a little bit of bass, from those eighty-eights
