Name the song the line is from Part II

Is that "Happy happy birthday, Baby?" If I'm right, I'm leaving the floor open -- I'm going to bed.

BTW, Cindee, the line from "Lucille" actually IS "a crop in the fields" -- I typed it wrong. Back in the day (mid-80's), we used to sing along with it at the country bar I hung out at. And we messed around with the words a bit (400 children and crap in the fields), LOL. After the first line of the chorus (You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille), we'd all yell out "You bitch, you slut, you whore." (We drank a lot back then.)
No, Sue. I'm sorry, it is not "Happy happy birthday, Baby". But if anybody here knows it, it should be you. I'll let it rest a while. But here's a small hint. Think "Tex-Mex".

Pretty sure that's Wasted Days And Wasted Nights, by Mr. Freddy Fender. I forget his real name, but I think he had a few of those.

This one topped the charts in 1960:

I know forgetting you would be a hopeless thing
For I'm a puppet and I just can't seem to break the string

I’m hearing a particular singer. But I haven’t narrowed down the title of the song. My vinyl discs are out of reach, so I don’t stand a chance on this one.

I think that it was called My Heart - or something like that.
I have always been a big Connie Francis Fan.

Not sure if that title is correct - and I'm heading our for a few hours - so I will leave it open

Tonyrob

Actually, it's "My Heart Has a Mind of its Own," by Connie Francis.

Don't know how I missed Freddy Fender. I used to like him a lot.

The floor is open -- I just got home from work and have to change clothes and rush out again. Catch 'ya later ...
Have a good time, Sue. Wherever it is you’re going.

This one is almost too easy:

Nothin’ can keep me
Keep me from you

Watch out for those easy ones. I was a total blank on that one at first.

I think it's Ain't No Mountain High Enough, by The Supremes.

Try this:

You always smile
But in your eyes your sorrow shows
Yes, it shows

Can't Live,by Air Supply.

How about this by a group we saw two weeks ago...

I'm looking at myself, reflections of my mind.
It's just the kind of day to leave myself behind.
Hi All,

You know, Bob? I think Jim’s song was “Without you” by Harry Nilsson.
But I understand that Air Supply did it as well. Maybe they called it “I Can’t Live”. Anyway, I really like the one you posted too. It’s “Tuesday Afternoon” by The Moody Blues.

The guy talks too fast in this 1974 hit:

Good Vibrations, Help Me Rhonda, Surfer Girl and Little Honda
