Name the song the line is from Part II

Tossin' and Turnin'. Great tune!

How about this from the early 70s:

We could stay inside and play games I don't know
Oops! It's not my turn. I'll be back
That one is a classic for sure. “Riki, Don’t Lose That Number’” by Steely Dan.

This one is still warm:

I'm thinking about the fireworks
that go off when you smile

I think that be Don't Get Me Wrong, by The Pretenders. Haven't heard them recently. Good one!

Late 70s:

I know the feeling we're trying to forget
If only for a while

Looks like it’s…HINT TIME! More lyrics and a few hints:

I'll say it once again
And somehow try to smile
I know the feeling we're trying to forget
If only for a while
'Cause I'll be lonely without you
And I'll need your love to see me through
Please believe me
My heart is in your hands
'Cause I'll be missing you

It’s a US band that originally formed in Chicago. They took their one-word name from that of a river in Greek mythology because it was the only name they could come up with that none of them hated.

The 1979 song had a one-word title. It charted #1 US, and #6 UK. Some called it pretty, if somewhat sad. Others called it schmaltzy. Take your pick.

Babe by Styxz I believe.

I kept repeating the last line slowly before it hit me.

New...

probably a pushover for this bunch

But all I remember
Are the dreams in the mist
I think that is titled: Sweet Dreams
I’m pretty sure that is “These Dreams” by Heart. I should wait for Phil to rule though. What do you say, Buddy?

Edited for a missing word
You are correct, Cyndee ! Ever see the lyrics on that song ? Lots and lots of words.
Yes Phil, I have seen them. It’s very creative and describes dreams rather vividly, don’t you think?

A little more nocturnal activity:

It's a chain reaction.
You'll see the people of the world
coming out to dance.
